These sculptures are proposed as the materialisation of unsettling inner emotions and emerge in a socio-political context of conflict due to growing warmongering, Europe must reinvent and unite itself from its differences and subdue chaos.
They capture that liminal moment, that space of psychic transition where the chaotic can be restructured into creative although asymmetrical and irregular forms, much like the turbulent emotions and thoughts that destabilise us.
Although these sculptures do not literally reproduce biological patterns, their strokes evoke the asymmetric rhythms present in living systems, such as nervous branching, plant rhizomes, or visceral movements. These golden forms in unstable balance establish a dialogue between order and disorder, structure and fluidity.
